The Story Behind It
Fifth Month Honey — according to ancient wisdom and belief, honey harvested during the fifth lunar month, the dry season, is considered especially fragrant, sweet, and rich. It has long been revered as honey from an auspicious season, and traditionally used both in herbal remedies and in offerings for making merit at temples.
At Phu Phana Estate, we therefore harvest honey only once a year, in the fifth month, to preserve the value of the season and capture nature's sweetness at just the right time.
